In order to maintain the integrity of all controls in placed, it is important for us to have a system to keep track of them (i.e. keep a record of maintenance details, performance audit results, etc.). In RiskView, we can incorporate that system by simply attaching all controls to their relevant Base Controls. For example, we can categorise similar type of controls into 1 base control, like multiple different DCS alarms into 1 Base Control called DCS Alarms. The idea behind this is that these similar type of controls will generally have similar maintenance schedule, operating limits, etc.
